Dr Williams
Dr Kanishka Williams is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery, sports knee reconstruction, and trauma surgery.
Over more than two decades, he has treated a wide variety of conditions and patients, developing a deep understanding of what works best for individual recovery and long-term outcomes.

Dr Williams spent many years serving the Alice Springs community, where he gained valuable experience managing diverse and often complex orthopaedic cases. His dedication to regional medicine and continuity of care continues to shape his practice today.

With an extensive research background and a genuine passion for teamwork and mentorship, Dr Williams strives to provide a stable, reliable and patient-centred service within every surgical team he leads.
Outside of the Operating Theatre
Outside of the operating theatre, Dr Williams enjoys long drives, time with family, fishing, and the gym. His family — and his dog — are never far from his side.
These moments remind him of why he loves his work: helping patients regain mobility and return to the things that make life enjoyable.
